Well, we've officially talked Ken into buying a boat from Voyage. He has the name picked out and we are lobbying for crew positions. The Mikes have earned their professional status as a "Mooring Ball Team" after having a 100% success rate of not embarrassing Captain Ken during the week. They are reportedly favored in the 2007 Mooring Ball Tie Up Olympics. What a coincidence - the competition will be held in the British Virgin Islands in December 2007. The team sponsors will be Blanchard Caterpillar, Integra Realty Resources and Budweiser.................................
Reportedly, there are serious negotiations underway with the owners of Soggy Dollar Bar and One Love Bar (yes, it does exist, and it is incredible). Future sponsorship announcements will be released on ESPN and Speedvision.

Bryan, Jennifer, Alicia, Bill, Henri, Justin, Kendall, Jeannie, Emma, Jim, Ellen.......looks like this bunch took the wrong turn and ended up at Nathan's...sure looks like Ivan's to all of us up here in 30 degree weather....maybe the Whackers were toooooooooo strong, or the Bushwachers were stirred too much, or the mooring ball was high and dry when they picked it up.
We spent much time with Ivan, who coincidentally, asks his "close friends" to call him Nathan. Kenny Chesney, Ken, Mike, Bill, and Mike are the only ones allowed to call him Nathan. It's his middle name.......... after his great grandfather, who sold his hot dog stand in New York City to fund the opening and operation of Ivan's in Jost Van Dyke. Maybe you've heard of his grandfather????
I think I've been set up
i just want Mike's Mooring Ball team to know that you have some serious competition. We are talking over 7 years of training and very few mistakes. so, unless you plan to train on the lake.. get ready for the silver medal!
-emma and the crew (of herself seeing as how her mother is terrible at the in the mooring ball event)
